At the heart of the STTY Foundation is a commitment to the future. Founded by a dedicated group of Delaware State University alumni, our mission is to ensure that a world-class education remains within reach for every deserving student. We believe that financial circumstances should never stand in the way of a student’s ability to remain authentic to their goals and "Stay True To Themselves."

🎓 The Award

For the 2027-2028 academic year, the STTY Foundation will award $3,000 to a student who embodies the spirit of perseverance and academic dedication.

📝 Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this honor, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Standing: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

  • Financial Need: Demonstrate financial need via the FAFSA form.

    • Note: Priority is given to students with the lowest Student Aid Index (SAI).

  • Institutional Pride: Must be a current or incoming student at Delaware State University.
